The first meeting of the Wandsworth LINk Interim Executive took place on Monday 14 July at Earlsfield Library. As agreed at the public meeting, it took place in private. There was a heavy agenda and not all items were covered, however it was a very positive meeting. The Interim Executive concentrated on procedural items 1 to 5 and agreed to meet again on Tuesday 26 August to complete the agenda. (Note as agreed this meeting will be held in private). The Interim Executive will meet on Monday 22 September. This meeting will be held in public and there will be an opportunity for people to comment or ask questions. Further details of this meeting will be made available at the end of August.
The Wandsworth Local Involvement Network is a new membership organisation, open to individuals and organisations in Wandsworth who want to make the local health and social care services better.
The LINk is one of 150 networks (LINks) being created around England and will give members the chance to check how health and social care services are run, and bring together the views of everyone to make sure that views are heard where they count and can change things for the better.
